I Can Draw Animals – Full of animals kids love with very simple step-by-step diagrams. Colorful, dynamic and easy to follow.  Most animals are completed in just six crayon-drawing steps!  A bestseller and also available in a Kid Kit packed with sidewalk chalk!

Daisy the Doctor – Daisy has gone high-tech!  Her office is fully networked.  This is beyond the regular children’s book that tries to dispel doctor anxiety.  It addresses those issues and then includes so much more that even my six-year-old was captivated.  I love how it explained that the doctor got behind when she had to see an emergency patient.  It provides a good explanation to appease my children’s favorite waiting room question, “When is it our turn?”

The Usborne Big Book of Fairy Things to Make and Do – Oh you know how we all love to create!  And this book has an extensive collection of all things wispy, glittery, whimsy and frothy.  Use basic materials such as paints, tissue paper, glitter, scotch tape and the included ONE THOUSAND shiny foil stickers to create pictures, collages, decorations, greeting cards and more.  This book is so full of unique and creative ideas the only problem you’ll have is picking which project to do first!

The Usborne Picture Dictionary in Spanish - I saw this book and thought, “Ok.  Cool deal – another book with a few pictures on a page with the Spanish .”  Not so!!!  This is a fabulous resource for young and old alike!  With alphabetized, printed tabs on the margin, this is a definite dictionary!  There are twelve boxes per page containing the word in English and Spanish, detailed picture, and also a sentence in English and Spanish using the word.  And in the back is an entire section on Grammar!  Verbs – lots of them – fully conjugated!  And helpful guides of how to put all these fabulous words into sentences.  Don’t forget it’s internet linked so you can hear those pronunciations online!
